First released in 1989, the Game Boy quickly turned into the must-have toy of the era. But their influence didn’t stop then. Seeing as we can’t just go to a gaming store and purchase one of these handheld consoles anymore, the resale market has considerably raised their price and they’re now selling for anywhere from $750 to $2,000. A brand new game boy actually sold for over $4,000 on eBay on August 18, 2019. And now all those little ’90s kids are yelling “I told you so!” to their parents. Tags:
